We check the possible packaging sizes individually on request to ensure that your products fit perfectly. Our standard size for slipcase boxes is 10 × 12 cm, but can be used flexibly as a starting point for smaller or larger formats.

The formats are square or rectangular, depending on the product.

A pull-out ribbon gives slipcase and drawer boxes their characteristic look and can be customised in terms of material, colour and placement. Satin ribbon is particularly popular - soft, shiny and available in many colours.

A more natural alternative is cotton ribbon, while paper or linen ribbons score points for their sustainable look. Grosgrain ribbons look more technical, jute ribbons more rustic - ideal for ecological brand worlds.

As a rule, the hinge is centred at the front, as with our 0830 CASE series. Alternatively, side or top placement is possible. If you prefer a minimalist look, choose a handle hole - simple, modern and completely without a band.

Inlays for slipcase boxes

Foam inserts (PE/PU)

Precise contours, secure fit, dimensionally stable. In black, white or coloured, optionally with velvety velour cover.

Cardboard inserts

Stable, cost-efficient and completely recyclable. Very good for rectangular products, limited for round shapes. Frequently used in cosmetics and perfume.

Thermoformed parts (PET)

Moulded, high-presentation; smooth/glossy or flocked (velvet-like). Less sustainable, rPET as an alternative.

Fibre casting inserts

Made of paper/cellulose/plant fibres, pressed into shape (white, black, beige). 100% recyclable, often compostable, robust and more valuable than cardboard.

On request, we use FSC®-certified or fully recycled cardboard and coating papers that are produced in a resource-saving manner. (Our FSC® licence number: FSC® C144083).

There are also numerous sustainable alternatives available for pull-out straps and inserts - from paper or cotton straps to inserts made from cast fibre or recycled materials.

Sharp Corner slipcase boxes

Sharp Corner is also easy to realise with slipcase and drawer boxes - and is even more common here than with slip lid packaging.

The result: particularly sharp, clear edges for a minimalist, high-quality look.

Important to know: Production is more complex (tighter tolerances, more manual labour, selected coating papers) and therefore more cost-intensive than with standard edgebands.

Slipcase and drawer boxes consist of two parts - a sturdy outer slipcase and a pull-out drawer. They are ideal for high-quality products such as jewellery, watches, cosmetics or gifts and impress with their design, stability and a special unboxing experience.
We manufacture your boxes in various sizes - from small jewellery boxes and medium-sized cosmetics packaging to large gift or technology boxes. Depending on the product, square or rectangular formats can be realised.
Almost anything is possible: smooth or textured cover papers, plain or printed surfaces, Pantone special colours and finishes such as hot foil. You determine the design - or we develop suitable proposals for your brand.
Hot foil stamping is a special highlight. It gives your packaging an elegant, shiny metallic finish - for example in gold, silver, rosé or individual special colours.
The pull-out ribbon can be made from satin, cotton, linen, paper, rep or jute. Satin looks elegant, cotton and paper more sustainable. The ribbon is usually centred at the front - alternatively, side or top positions are also possible.

We offer different inserts depending on the product:

  • Foam inserts for a precise fit and secure hold
  • Cardboard inserts as a cost-effective, recyclable solution
  • Thermoformed parts made of PET or rPET for dimensionally stable presentations

Yes, we can manufacture with FSC-certified or recycled cardboard and paper on request. Sustainable alternatives for pull-out straps and inserts - made from paper, cotton or fibre casting, for example - are also possible.
"Sharp Corner" stands for particularly sharp, precise edges - a sign of the highest processing quality. This design is common for slipcase boxes and gives the packaging a clear, modern look. However, it is somewhat more complex and therefore more expensive.
