COIN PACKAGING - ACCORDING TO YOUR IDEAS
Anyone who collects, sells or gives away coins knows that the right packaging is crucial. It protects against scratches and environmental influences, ensures a professional presentation and adds value to the coin. This is exactly where our Coin packaging comes into play.
We offer you a large selection - from simple cardboard boxes to elegant stand-up cases. So you will always find the solution that suits your coins and your purpose. You can find all the important information about storing coins here.
Why there are different types of Coin packaging
Every coin is unique - and the requirements for its packaging are as different as the coins themselves. While collectors value long-term storage and optimum protection, dealers often prioritise design and sales impact. Gift packaging, on the other hand, should evoke emotions and add a special touch to the moment.
That's why there is no one perfect coin packaging, but a variety of solutions: from secure protection and functional standards to exclusive presentation packaging. This gives you the freedom to choose exactly the variant that shows off your coins to their best advantage.
WHICH COIN PACKAGING SUITS WHICH PURPOSE?
LESER makes 6 types of coin packaging. Which one is right depends on the purpose: protection for a collection, a case to give away, a frame for the shop window or cardboard for a series.

Coin capsules
Coin capsules are the basis of many Coin packaging. They are made of sturdy, transparent plastic and enclose the coin tightly. This protects it from dust, scratches and fingerprints. At the same time, the coin remains visible - a great advantage for collectors who not only want to store their treasures but also view them.
We offer Coin capsules in various sizes, suitable for all common coin diameters. They are easy to open, can be used several times and are ideal for series or individual pieces.
LESER has 45 sizes in stock: inner diameters from 11 to 50 mm with an inner height of 1 to 4 mm, outer diameters from 24 to 56 mm.
Floating frame
If you want to present your coins in a spectacular way, floating frames are a particularly innovative and beautiful way to store them. The elastic silicone film makes it look as if the coin is floating freely in space - visible from both sides. This makes floating frames ideal for exhibitions, trade fairs or shop windows.
They also create a special wow effect as gift packaging. They are modern, elegant and can be used flexibly - for individual coins as well as for entire series.
The frames come in three formats: 50 x 50 x 25 mm, 70 x 70 x 25 mm and 100 x 100 x 25 mm.
Coin cases
If elegance is important to you, coin cases are the way to go. These cases are available in many variations: made of sturdy cardboard, imitation leather or a particularly elegant wooden version. Inside, they are fitted with matching inserts that hold the coin in place and present it in a high-quality way.
Coin cases give every coin a special character - whether you are presenting a gift, archiving a collector's item or selling a high-quality product. Coin cases can also be personalised with individual finishes such as logos or names and used as brand ambassadors. We make the insert to fit the coin, either as a deep-drawn insert or as a patented insert. 150 pieces is the standard minimum order quantity, and depending on the case and the insert we can often arrange it from 50 pieces. Dispatch takes 12 to 15 working days.
Cardboard coin packaging
Simple, practical and flexible: cardboard boxes are the all-rounders among Coin packaging. They offer reliable protection and can be customised. Whether with a coloured print, logo or special embossing: Cardboard boxes can be perfectly customised to suit your brand and your requirements.
They are particularly suitable for coin series or as transport packaging. The coins can be securely fixed with matching inlays. Particularly practical: cardboard boxes are easy to stack, making them ideal for larger quantities. For coins, 023088 PLAIN with 80 x 80 x 22 mm is a good fit.
Coin packaging with clear lid
When it comes to maximising visibility, transparent packaging is the right solution. They are transparent, simple and put the coin itself centre stage - without any distraction from the material or design. This makes them particularly interesting for sales promotions, trade fairs or low-cost series.
They provide reliable protection against external influences, are cost-effective and easy to handle, and transparent packaging is the right choice if the coin itself is to be the star. A common format measures 75 x 75 x 6 mm inside.
Stand-up cases for coins
A stand-up case can be opened and set up so that the coin is presented at an ideal viewing angle. This creates a kind of stage for your collector's item. Whether in a shop window, at a trade fair or on a living room shelf - a display case puts your coin in the spotlight.
The cases are available in various sizes and designs and allow you to customise the presentation to suit your requirements. Stand-up cases are an exceptionally high-quality solution, especially for limited editions or gift sets. A common format measures 60 x 60 x 18 mm inside.
